Matthew Cordis, CEO
Matthew has more than 20 years of legal, financial, operations and fintech experience. Following graduation from Washington University (B.S.B.A., magna cum laude) and Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D., with honors), Matthew began his legal career at one of the top peer-rated law firms in the State of Florida, where he became the youngest Partner in the Firm’s history. Following his tenure at the Firm, Matthew served as President of CBC Global Capital, LLC, including responsibility for the company’s operations in the Republic of Colombia. Thereafter, Matthew joined biometric identity-authentication company Ipsidy (now “AuthID, Inc.”) (NASDAQ: AUID), where he occupied senior-level positions in operations and business-development, respectively. Subsequently, Matthew served a three-year term as the Chief Operating Officer at Intercredit Bank, N.A., which is part of the Pichincha Group international banking conglomerate.
Additionally, Matthew served as Chief of Staff during the Miami Beach mayoral campaign in 2007, as well as on the City of Miami Beach’s Finance and Citywide Projects Committee during that same time. From 2008 through 2010, Matthew served on the Board of Directors of Plus International Bank, and from March 2017 through June 2020 he served on the Board of Directors of Intercredit Bank. Lastly, Matthew currently sits on the Board of Directors of We Assist Group Corp., a Panamanian-based international travel assistance company.
